Gault’s 2025 Furnace Giveaway Winners Announced

The warmth shared through Gault Heating & Cooling’s 2025 Furnace Giveaway went far beyond new equipment – it reached real families, real homes, and real moments that will never be forgotten.

After receiving hundreds, possibly thousands, of entries and nominations, two winners were selected and announced live on December 21, 2025, during Valley Spotlight on WBCB. This year’s giveaway, once again, reminded us why our community is so special.
 

Congratulations to Our 2025 Furnace Giveaway Winners

This year, Gault Heating & Cooling had the opportunity to help two families in our community:

Holly Weyand of East Liverpool, Ohio, whose story deeply moved everyone involved, and

Lisa Lawton of Canfield, Ohio, who was selected during the live drawing.

Both winners received a brand-new Lennox furnace, including 100% free equipment and installation, as part of Gault’s commitment to giving back. 

Holly’s Story – A Gift of Warmth at the Perfect Time

Out of countless stories submitted, one nomination stood out in a truly unexpected way.

Holly Weyand never planned on winning. In fact, she didn’t even know she’d been nominated – at first.

Holly’s aunt saw a post about the Gault Furnace Giveaway and decided to enter Holly herself. When she told Holly about it, Holly jokingly asked if entering more than once was allowed. "Worth a try," her aunt said. So Holly entered too.

The twist?

It wasn’t Holly’s entry that won – it was her aunt’s nomination.

Holly, who admits she "never wins anything," was shocked. She still doesn’t know exactly what her aunt wrote in the nomination, but the timing couldn’t have been more meaningful.

The new Lennox furnace was installed around Christmas time – on Holly’s birthday.

For the past two winters, Holly and her daughter, Ariana, lived without a working furnace. To stay warm, they relied on electric heaters – something that constantly worried Holly, especially in an older home.

"I was always afraid I’d wake up to the smell of a fire," she shared.

As a single mom, saving for a new furnace while caring for her daughter simply wasn’t possible. The stress, exhaustion, and constant concern for safety weighed heavily on her.

On January 19, 2026, Holly also celebrates something extraordinary:

10 years in remission after battling Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Her daughter was only three years old when Holly was diagnosed, and the family waited to celebrate the holidays until Holly returned home from the hospital. Strength, warmth, and resilience have always filled her home – long before the Gault team walked through the door.

Holly shared this message with others:

“Don’t give up. You’ve got to keep fighting. When I felt like I wanted to give up, I just had to keep going. There’s a lot to live for, and God is very good.”

The Gault team is honored to have helped provide Holly and Ariana with peace of mind, safety, and warmth – not just for this winter, but for many years to come.
