Find Gault at the 180th Canfield Fair
September 2 through 7, 2026
This will be our fifth year with a tent at the fair, and it is still one of the things our whole crew looks forward to most all year.
The air conditioning will be running the entire time. We pop fresh popcorn all day. And we will have somewhere comfortable for you to sit down for a few minutes, which after five years out there we have learned is the thing people actually want by the middle of the afternoon.
Two things worth planning your day around.
Saturday, September 5: Watch the YSU game
Youngstown State takes on Kentucky, and we are putting the game on at the tent. Kickoff has not been announced yet. We will post it on our Facebook page as soon as we know.
Sunday, September 6, from 4pm to 6pm: autographs
The Youngstown State starting lineup will be at our tent signing autographs.
Where to find us
Here is the one thing we cannot tell you yet. We do not find out our tent assignment until we set up the day before the gates open, which is how it goes every year. As soon as the fair opens we will post exactly where we are on our Facebook page and our Google listing.
Six days in the September sun
The fairgrounds get hot this time of year and there is not much shade out there. Drink more water than you think you need. If you can, plan the middle of the afternoon around something with a roof over it. And keep an eye on older relatives and on little kids for the early signs of heat exhaustion, which usually show up as a headache, dizziness, or somebody suddenly going quiet.
Come sit in the air conditioning for ten minutes whenever you want to. That is what the tent is there for, and you do not have to be a customer.

After the fair comes furnace season
Around here the fair is how a lot of us mark the end of summer, and the first genuinely cold night shows up sooner than anybody expects. Here is what we actually look at on a heating tune-up.

I couldn’t be happier with Gault. There were no games played. Just a very fair priced, straight to the point estimate for new central a/c and furnace. Installed the following week. Everyone was great. Highly recommend!
They installed a new H/H furnace and A/C unit in my home and it has a noticeable difference already. The old unit was undersized and looked like some 8 year old installed it, the new equipment is first class. But now with properly sized ductwork the home is much more comfortable. You only get what you pay for.
We have our home and an apartment above our detached garage and have had both furnaces replaced in each. Great service. Great installations. Checkups were both great. Would definitely recommend the company! All employees have been pleasant and helpful.
They did it all in one day and they were efficient. We were told one of the guys was new. There was a small leak in the system, but they came back the same day and fixed it. Their price was very competitive.
Thank you to Jeff and the whole Gault crew for making everything so seem less and easy through the whole process!!..Would recommend you to anyone!!..Now our home is nice a chilly!!!
